Other Involvements

As someone who finds joy in everything I do, I wanted to highlight some of my other involvements that have directly impacted my acting, stage-management, and filmmaking journey.

I have worked as an Assistant Electrician from March 2020 ~ August 2023 at UC Santa Barbara through the Theater & Dance Department. I have also worked for The Ensemble Theater at the New Vic & the Marjorie Luke Theater as an out-source hire, both located in Downtown Santa Barbara.

As of since September of 2023, I work as a student electrician under Kate DeWall at CalArts for the Theater Department.

In regards to designing, I had the privilege to design the lighting & co-design the sound for a reading of William Huffaker's Nasty Little Things in May 2023.

Over the course of my time at UCSB, I have become more inclined to devise and write my own work. This has manifested in writing for the "GO!" Play Festival twice (Bonded Together and Hazy Waters) and writing INTRUDER: A Short Film.

During my undergrad, I was involved with the AMPLIFY Initiative, a student organization through UCSB dedicated to creating safe and creative spaces for those whose voices are under-represented in the theater world (BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, neuro-divergent, & disabled folx), for three years as a Co-Artistic Director.

I also worked with kids within my hometown community through Shakespeare Kids & PlayHouse 395, both through their summer theater programs for students ranging from elementary to early high school.

At CalArts, I am a student teaching assistant with the Community Arts Partnership (CAP) where I am a teaching assistant for performing arts classes twice a week at a high school in the Los Angeles area.
