Background

As I started aging out of the children summer programs, my participation shifted from being a camper, to an assistant, and now working in education as a teaching artist.

Through the P.R.E.P. Program at Will Geer's Theatricum Botanicum, I trained and worked as a Teaching Artist for the School Days Education Field Trips. In June, I was an assistant for a newly created program: Sunday Fundays, a weekly event for families with young children where a fable is performed each week using the magic of theater.

Through CalArt's Community Arts Partnership (CAPS) as a Student Teaching Artists Assistant, I worked twice a week with a class of theater students at Sotomayor Arts and Sciences Magnet.

While at UC Santa Barbara, I was brought on as a Co-Artist Director for the UCSB AMPLIFY Initiative, a student-run organization dedicated to provide creative spaces for underrepresented artists (BIPOC, LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, disabled, and more) and prioritizing their explorations in their artistry.

I was a Camp Assistant several summers for Shakespeare Kids for their Mammoth Lakes summer program. This involved notating blocking, playing theater games with the kids, teaching dance and stage combat workshop, and providing general assistance for the camp director.

Occasionally before 2020, I also assisted with several local programs in my hometown, including with Playhouse 395 in Bishop CA.
